Meet Mitch O'Brey
Founder & Agronomist
Mitch O'Brey founded Birdie's Pro Turf Care in 2020 with a singular vision: bring the precision and expertise of championship golf course management to North Texas residential properties.
With a degree in Plant and Soil Science and certification as a Licensed Professional Agronomist, Mitch spent eight years managing premier golf courses in the Dallas-Fort Worth area before launching Birdie's. His experience maintaining bentgrass greens, championship bermuda fairways, and high-traffic sports turf informs every aspect of the Birdie's approach.
"Golf course superintendents don't guess," Mitch explains. "We soil test. We calibrate equipment. We monitor weather data. We adjust chemistry based on plant tissue analysis. That same rigor should be available to homeowners who take pride in their property."
